Nov 8, 2009 - Vin Scully is so awesome, very few words yet so powerful with whatever he says.. he lets the image speak for itself.

Nov 11, 2009 - Man I was about a month shy of my 10th B-Day when this tremendous homerun happened to this day it still makes the hair on my arms stand on end... not to mention a small tear in my eye. BTW, I love how @ 1:27 they put a graphic up stating Eck hadn't allowed a HR since Aug 24. It's like they knew something was gonna happen...

Jobafan08 Says:
Nov 11, 2009 - wow, as a baseball fan, you cant help but appreciate this moment, a star who could barely walk up to the batters box manages to work a full count against a hall of fame closer and somehow hits a walkoff homer =) this is a classic moment and call

Nov 12, 2009 - I remember watching this when I was 8 years old with my parents. It was such a classic moment. Every time I see this it sends chills down my spine.

Nov 14, 2009 - "And Now The Only Question Was, Could He Make It Around The Basepads Unassisted?" That was exactly what I was thinking the moment I saw him hit it out to right field. I saw this and the Bruckner play in the '86 WS, as they happened on TV and the Gibson homerun is not only the most awesome moment I have ever seen in a baseball game. It was the greatest TV moment of my childhood.

Nov 15, 2009 - "in the year that has been so improbable, the impossible has happened" -Vin Scully-I mean, could he possibly come up with more genius comments, the man is truly a legend!!!
elgallopol Says:
Nov 16, 2009 - Listen, not to knock dodger blue but this call is second to the 86 mets (bill buckner error )not only because of the call itself but also the magnitud,2 out,1 away from the title everything that transpired but this is a great one no doubt! Scully at his best!!!!!!!!!!1
linda24057 Says:
Nov 17, 2009 - Check out at 3:17, the base runner might have been off the base for about a millisecond, but if the first basemen kept his glove on the runner, he might have been called out. Then there would be no Kirk Gibson story.
rw5791 Says:
Nov 17, 2009 - holy shit,1st was open and sax was on deck.Gibson was banged up but obviously still a threat so why not pitch to the right-handed sax?

hbomb1962 Says:
Nov 4, 2009 - you cant choose teams over the best home run ever.they keep showing the hit in sports greatest moments but without the whole at bat to see the man stumbling in the batters box and then hitting it over the fence, you have to see the whole at bat
