However, in the state of Victoria they are a prohibited weapon and if you are caught carrying one, you can get a fine of up to $56,073 dollars or 4 years imprisonment. Yet, with a kitchen knife, it is a controlled weapon which attracts a $28,036 fine or 2 years imprisonment. Seriously, can anyone find the logic here?

Nov 1, 2009 - I always thought a pepper spray canister that attached to the accessory rail of your gun might be a good idea. An example use might be a guy with a knife robbing the store you're in or a mean dog that is about to attack. You could use the spray and if the guy or dog attacked you anyway your gun is already pointed at him or it.

Nov 14, 2009 - deer is good, racoon tastes better. good vid. my wife and i carry pepper spray and ruger lcp's. we went to the smithsonian in d.c. and instead of going back to the car we tossed our spray into the trash (they have metal detectors and it was a long walk back to the car) anyway a nice .380 round might have been nice through the skull of old james von brunn.
