Nov 15, 2009 - Pretty good. No Elaine Paige, but good. At the very least she surprised the shallow people who figured that she couldn't possibly issue out a decent voice. However, if you will notice, the first two or three measures are certainly very shaky. That's largely why she put her hand on her abdominal wall. It's a practice any good choir person knows: it is a way to check that you're breathing correctly (by the use of your diaphragm, rather than your chest). Still, a decent rendition.

That's the difference between an Elaine Paige or a Sarah Brightman, and this very talented amateur. That said, I will never forget her original breakthrough performance, which was utterly inspiring.

Nov 20, 2009 - Before you all start judging - this is a very difficult song to sing and for someone who was clearly exhausted from the attention - she did a fabulous job - yeah the start was a tad slow but if you can do better - go for it but just read the music for it - she owned this song at the end.

Nov 20, 2009 - I can't watch her much longer. I cry buckets of tears. The thought horrifies me that her talent was probably noticed and ignored years ago. Her voice is beautiful and absolutely PERFECT! The lady is 47 years old....can one imagine what could and would have been? They dolled her up and plastered her face with make-up. I liked her the way she was!
