Aug 13, 2009 - ray, Paul Erdos was smart... ...doesn't mean he could raise himself from the dead. "Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." (Joh 2:19) God knows that man's problem is not whether he has letters after his name. Man has a spiritual problem Thus, the victory at Calvary. :-)

supercrevolution Says:

Aug 20, 2009 - By disproving the Bible it doesn't validate Islam.

BarronTD Says:

Aug 25, 2009 - Too bad they don't accept that the same issues crop up for their own text...

AbduAlhak Says:

Aug 31, 2009 - supercrevolution, it is easy to prove that the Bible is not the word of God almighty, and it is even easier to prove that the Holy Quran is the final word of God almighty

AbduAlhak Says:

Aug 31, 2009 - Zillaroo, SA, mark my words brother/sister, the original bible will be out my prove is in the Holy Quran 5:68 [68] Say: "O People of the Book! Ye have no ground to stand upon unless ye stand fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord. check it out please

kadene2 Says:

Sep 6, 2009 - Please do not think you can substitute one madness for another. it is well known that much of the Levitical enjoinders and Mosaic pronouncements were plagiarized by Islam, which incidentally was compiled by scribes who were told what writings to discard and what to incude an sacred text. The islamic concept of god is of the same character as the Hebraic one: full of sound and fury...and you know the rest. Mankind needs to attain a higher level of consciousness and leave these fables behind.

trac4yt Says:

Sep 16, 2009 - blocking now?

trac4yt Says:

Sep 16, 2009 - Abdu, The Bible is THE final authority on the Person, Life and Work of Jesus Christ. The qur'an is not. "And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life." (1Jo 5:20) :-) KNOW eternal security IN HIM.

w4csc Says:

Sep 23, 2009 - They just cannot accept that this is all the imagination of very superstitious ancient people to whom your basic flashlight would have been a religious experience. Of course, these guys make their living off this imaginary god and have to go on studying and analyzing the hoax or starve to death, like the rest of the clerics across the planet.

BobbyColePopMusic Says:

Sep 24, 2009 - No Biblical God ever. Jesus was either fictitious or just a man.. People really have to grow up. Humans just can't shed the fact that their parents and adults indoctrinated them as children and are unable to believe they were just handed a story over the course of centuries.. The faithful just quote scripture because that's all they've got. It means nothing. The Bible doesn't even belong on a dusty bookshelf.

kadene2 Says:

Oct 3, 2009 - Let me speak for myself. I do not need eternal security. If I wake up to another consciousness after I die so let it be. But I think that's hardly likely. So I do not worry about it. Only if I fear the unknown do I need the reassurance and the promise of eternal bliss. That promise was to win converts after you scared the bejesus out of folks. This tale taught to children stays with them for life. It keeps them laden with guilt and keeps them focused on heaven. I have been de-programmed.

Oct 12, 2009 - trac4yt, why is the bible "THE final authority"? Who decided what to include in the bible? Was it God? If you asked a random survey I would guarantee at least 90% of christians would claim yes, God "chose" what to include in the bible but in fact it was a group of early CATHOLIC PRIESTS. They took the collection of "religious" texts at the time and picked which ones they liked best -- that is the bible. There is no institution in the history of man more hypocritical than the vatican.

dietermauer Says:

Oct 13, 2009 - What leads you to say, that the Bible is the final authority and not the Tora or The Curan? or any other religious book of any other religion that have been written over the years?

gulmakai Says:

Oct 17, 2009 - if you study the quran and how it was put together you will be amazed. do you know that there are thousands and hundreds of people who have memorized the quran from page to page by heart. also there is a science to reciting the quran in the original language. do you know that the quran was written down during the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) time . and put together soon after his death. there is no mistake in the quran go and study it.

Lohitaksha Says:

Oct 18, 2009 - There are thousands and hundreds of people who have memorized the Bhagavad Gita from page to page by heart. also there is a science to reciting the Bhagavad Gita in the original language. do you know that the Bhagavad Gita was written down centuries before the Bible and certainly before the more recent Quran.

gulmakai Says:

Oct 21, 2009 - oh i did not know that. but thanks for letting me know. as a muslim we beleive God sent lots of messenger or prophets all over the world. so Bhagaved Gita could be the book of God but God knows the best.

DemokritosAbdera Says:

Oct 23, 2009 - "there is science reciting the quran in the original language" do you even know what science mean? i highly doubt it,

trac4yt Says:

Oct 24, 2009 - diet, Any spiritual teaching contrary to the infallible Biblical revelation is counterfeit. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. (2Co 5:19) Welcome to final authority! Learn quickly. :-)

alphacause Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - Having thought about the book of Job a lot, the obvious point never occurred to me that God giving children to Job as literal REPLACEMENTS for the kids he has lost is not exactly a good thing. This underscores that the Biblical view of children is not the same view of children we have today. The Biblical view of children is that of property. Basically they are chattel that can be replaced. No one living today can think that one child can replace the other because we value people as individuals.

Youlube32 Says:

Nov 4, 2009 - I have seen some pretty interesting passages in the Qur'an that don't necessarily flow very well about what we know about astronomy.

gulmakai Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - I PRAY YOU ARE well. can you kindly tell which one.

Youlube32 Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - Lol I assure that I am quite well thank you :). When I approach what looks to be a contradiction in any holy book I refer to it as a "contradiction in questioning". The Bible has many things that would seem very contradictory in it so who am I to say someone else's holy book is corrupted and mine isn't? Anyway, I believe the passage is Qu'ran 71:16 where it says that the sun and the stars are in the lowest heaven, closer to the earth than the moon is. Astronomers see that the moon is closer than
