Oct 6, 2009 - The adult bear is actually male and thats what makes the story even more intriguing because most male adult bears will eat the cubs if they are unattended. Before they shot this movie, the director gave the male adult bear a teddy bear to play with for weeks so he can get used to it. After they introduced the cub finally the adult bear treated him with absolute affection.

This is truely one of the most entertaining, yet educational docu-dramas of it's time. You won't regret renting or buying it! This little bear goes through just about everything imaginable, including a scenerio of experiencing psychodelic side effects from wild mushrooms he's discovered to this river scene. I believe the production company is French and the movie is AWESOME!!!!!
