Do you think we should do away with out socialist police force and adopt one where we pay for our own security? Or maybe we should do away with our socialist Fire Fighters and pay for our own fire protection? I guess we would just get more insurance to cover those two. I'm sure it would be cheap. They spend so much because it is largely our money, not theirs- and because there is no oversight to ensure they have to answer for every dollar spent, and prove that it was spent prudently.

Aug 18, 2009 - socialism is not evil or bad as it is seen in our country. Socialism and communism are two totally different things. Many things are socialized today in our country. Education, mail service, libraries, and many more things.... in today's health care system 18,000 people die each year because they do not have health insurance and are not given health services for that or just cannot pay for it. Change has been long before owed and we cannot let this opportunity slip away for reform.
