Jun 23, 2009 - $5 a day???!!! What the hell are you smokin'?!! My insurance is cheap as crap and with my employer paying HALF it's still almost $15 per day.
Quindal Says:
Jun 23, 2009 - first of all, you have no idea what socialism is, you have clearly misused it throughout your asinine comments on a subject you clearly do not grasp
wcourville Says:
Jun 30, 2009 - Let's all hope that our honorable representatives in government fulfill our health care needs as well as as they took care of our broke retirement system, social security while at the same time enjoying a 'different' retirement plan that is doing just fine for them. Maybe they could write their own health care plan too. Oh, nevermind, they already did that.
magicadespell56 Says:
Jul 15, 2009 - you cant help or please everyone.. but this is what i think would work. health-care: all preventive testing should be covered, if you maintain healthy weight and lifestyle.(who decides this) you apply for a gov.bonus. it is FACT get it earlier it get cheaper... simple.. dont bother trying to make insurance companies do what is right,, create a new reasonable gov insurance,, if we all paid into it ,the cost would not need to be overly expensive..good luck.. PREVENTIVE IS WHERE YOU BEGIN. Shelly
telecomladyj Says:
Jul 23, 2009 - "if we all paid into it ,the cost would not need to be overly expensive." I love that, it's so sweet and naive. Congress NEVER spends so much money these days because it's needed! They spend so much because it is largely our money, not theirs- and because there is no oversight to ensure they have to answer for every dollar spent, and prove that it was spent prudently.
you1x2007 Says:
Jul 25, 2009 - Dear Mr. President, VETO THIS THING IF THERE'S: NO Mandated cost-cutting steps NO Mandated cheaper drugs to be allowed across the border from Canada NO Mandated direct Federal government negotiations with the pharmaceutical companies to lower Medicare drug prices. Forget Mandated Buying...Mandate Cost control. Mandate regulation of prices.
you1x2007 Says:
Jul 25, 2009 - Dear Mr. President, NO subsides to US Maximize Profit Insurance companies. Nothing, Zero.
politicalpolitical Says:
Jul 27, 2009 - The United States spent approximately $2.2 trillion on health care in 2007, or $7,421 per person nearly twice the average of other developed nations.
politicalpolitical Says:
Jul 27, 2009 - It is soooo easy for them to forget about Micheal Moore's sicko...or that Hillary was trying to accomplish this back in the 90s but BIG healthcare spent millions to slaughter her public option.... THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN OVERNIGHT PEOPLE
Quindal Says:
Jul 28, 2009 - And how much of that was for legal resident americans which were incapable of paying for it using their own means? Healthcare reform is a catch phrase which means absolutely nothing, some people would have us believe that it means coming up with a new way for the poor to get healthcare, but instead of making another government program to deal with the current oversights the one who would be king wants to absolutely destroy the american free market to set in place a communist agenda
gophomaxx Says:
Jul 29, 2009 - The most important part of any federal intervention in medical care should be to reward the people who improve the health of the people. Prevention is the best approach to any problem. Only if the health care proves to improve the health of the patient should it receive federal aid.
politicalpolitical Says:
Aug 2, 2009 - Quindal: Healthcare reform means just that "reform" What goes into the bill are different things? Have you heard Obama speak? He said,"No one is talking about Universal Healthcare" He is talking about deletion of pre-existing conditions - insurance not being allowed to deny coverage, insurance not being allowed to dillute or cancel coverage just b/c you are sick -- these things happen too much communism and socialism are two different things. - go learn something
Quindal Says:
Aug 2, 2009 - It's too bad you don't know what you're talking about First of all, he doesn't even know what's in the bill, and neither do you He says he's not talking about uni-health, but anyone that has been following his presidency knows that this guy is a bold face liar and will say anything he has to to make you believe him and like him this guy doesn't care about you, or me, or even his own family he only cares about becoming king
Quindal Says:
Aug 2, 2009 - The United States spent ... $7,421 per person This is a lie, unpaid healthcare is not subsidized, it is written off, a write off is not paid to an entity is is applied to already owed taxes and cannot exceed the amount due The US let hospitals keep money that they shouldn't have paid in the first place, churches don't, why should hospitals?
garybsg Says:
Aug 4, 2009 - Obama pushing for the final frontier: TOTAL SOCIALISM. Sadly, I voted for him and won't next time.
facelessbeauty Says:
Aug 9, 2009 - Really Quindal? You are seriously an ignorant prick if you really believe Oboam "only cares about becoming king." He is a family man, a very smart and capable leader (not KING), and cares very much for the over all well being of the country/economy. Call it socialism if you want, but all the connotations will disappear when his ideas and plans actually work.
Quindal Says:
Aug 9, 2009 - Obama does only care about becoming king, if you'd remove your head from your ass you'd see it too Obama cares about family? If he is going to care about me anywhere near as much as his own brother and mother, forget it. I don't want to live in a hut He does not care abotu your well being, if he did he would have helped you get out of debt instead of into it; the "stimulus" went to BANKS so they could lend you money and put you into debt Cash for clunkers = debt creating He's enslaved you
Quindal Says:
Aug 9, 2009 - What you meant to say is "Have you heard obama lie?" Sadly you believe this Nazi and take him at his word, yet you don't stop to think that no one has read the bill, so while he says what you want to hear, very different things are being written in the bills He's broken every promise he's made to us, transparency, no lobbyists, ethics, Just Words? Apparently so When will you people wake up and realize this guy says whatever it is he thinks will make you push his Nazi agenda forward?
reconfox1 Says:
Aug 11, 2009 - How do you suggest uninsured citizens obtain health insurance if they make too much money to recieve aid, and not enough to pay for it themselves. All health care reform set aside and conspiracy theories duct taped and shoved into a corner, how would you, the for and against sides of the debate create health care for every citizen?
jrouhbniny Says:
Aug 18, 2009 - socialism is not evil or bad as it is seen in our country. Socialism and communism are two totally different things. Many things are socialized today in our country. Education, mail service, libraries, and many more things.... in today's health care system 18,000 people die each year because they do not have health insurance and are not given health services for that or just cannot pay for it. Change has been long before owed and we cannot let this opportunity slip away for reform.
septemberboardom Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - I love how all the comments that dont agree with obama give a tumbs down..*rolls eyes*....makes me mad
garybsg Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Complete fucking nonsense from a socialist. 300 million live because of capitalism. Because of capitalism we have the highest standard of living in the world and in the history of the world. Socialism has destroyed every country where it has been implemented. Even in the glorious Sweden, they want out. Socialist logic is if you take money from people who work for it, you'll get more productivity. Fucking socialist idiots.
garybsg Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - I voted for Obama, I did not vote for socialism
garybsg Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Know this they are mindless zombies

blueskip Says:
Jun 23, 2009 - Uhmmm...NO..It hasn't. In fact it's been so successful that it's spread everywhere nearly. Do you think we should do away with out socialist police force and adopt one where we pay for our own security? Or maybe we should do away with our socialist Fire Fighters and pay for our own fire protection? I guess we would just get more insurance to cover those two. I'm sure it would be cheap. If you could get it. You're clueless.
