Nov 19, 2009 - it is my opinion, agree or not, but I grew up in the 80's on bands like slayer,cannibal corpse, sepultura, and testament...those (back then) were the "heaviest" metal bands...my opinion is that without those early "heavier than metallica, megadeth,ect" bands there would possibly not be all the other offspring "metal" bands like todays "black,death,vampire,goth, ect metal"...really to insult people who dont agree is a sign of arrogance and ingnorance..also just my opinion
