Sep 24, 2009 - Just the tone of this guy's speech informs us instantly that we are listening to an angry, undisciplined reactionary. Just this sentence alone informs us that you didn't watch the video. we note that rather than refuting any specific argument made by ID scholars, the narrator simply proffers an abstract argument And this sentence confirms you didn't watch the video.

shashintokyo Says:

Sep 26, 2009 - You're an idiot.

shashintokyo Says:

Sep 26, 2009 - Wow... I wont even bother to argue with you... insults to you are all that I can bother because arguments, I know, you will not listen to. YOU ARE A MORON.

shashintokyo Says:

Sep 26, 2009 - "A healthy 15 year old who isn't potty trained" LOL! Yeah exactly!

rationalanarchy Says:

Sep 27, 2009 - He targets the dishonesty of the Discovery Institute in this video because that is the point of this video. Watch some of his other videos for more specifics if you want to hear why these scientific illiterates are wrong.

iritegud Says:

Sep 27, 2009 - I like your response the best. It proves my point. You people have nothing substantive to say. You believe in nothing and nothing informs your worldview.

iritegud Says:

Sep 27, 2009 - You can't prove that the DI is dishonest and you haven't. That would be difficult. You people haven't read a single book on ID and you have no idea what it holds.

rationalanarchy Says:

Sep 27, 2009 - I believe in nothing? That is a markedly personal assessment on my worldview about which you have no knowledge. In what way do I have nothing substantive? I simply suggested you look at the other videos by DonExodus.

rationalanarchy Says:

Sep 27, 2009 - The Discovery Institute has been demonstrably dishonest using censorship tactics, quote mines, and blatant mischaracterizations of science to make their points. That is pure dishonesty. What exactly does ID hold? What explanatory power does it offer? Can you provide some peer reviewed literature supporting ID?

rationalanarchy Says:

Sep 27, 2009 - Articles highlighting the Discovery Institute's intellectual dishonesty: "ID supporters present fallacious arguments, use dishonest rhetoric, and often present non-contemptuous responses as evidence that their theories are gaining acceptance." Leaders and Followers in the Intelligent Design Movement Jason Rosenhouse. BioScience, Vol. 53 No. 1, January 2003. Political Animal, Intelligent Design Kevin Drum. Washington Monthly, March 24 2004.

shashintokyo Says:

Sep 27, 2009 - @ iritegud I believe in nothing and nothing informs my world view? You assume a lot my ignoramus friend. Typical religious type that makes assumptions instead of seeking knowledge and truth.

iritegud Says:

Sep 28, 2009 - Seriously? That's your informed response? So you admit bigotry in an ad hominem riposte as a way to diminish my position? LOL

shashintokyo Says:

Sep 29, 2009 - I admit that you are keen to deflect critical responses to you without addressing them.

rationalanarchy Says:

Sep 29, 2009 - Just going to ignore the information I provided crushing your prior comments? Typical.

tuseroni Says:

Oct 3, 2009 - kitzmiller v. dover. read up on it, check it out on youtube, or watch some of ken miller's (a roman catholic btw) videos on ID. the fact is evolution fits the MOST evidence, and is the SINGLE unifying theory which consistently fits all known data and all new data. unlike ID it IS falsifiable, but it has not BEEN falsified in over 150 years, despite MANY MANY MANY people trying.

FinallyTheNight Says:

Oct 8, 2009 - There are no human ancestral relics.

NuclearRadio Says:

Oct 8, 2009 - Bullshit.

338dmac Says:

Oct 14, 2009 - That wasn't even discriminatory, you dolt. And an ad hominem looks more like this: "Just the tone of this guy's speech informs us instantly that we are listening to an angry, undisciplined reactionary". Don't even complain about "diminishing my position". Apparently your position isn't worth defending seeing so you yourself are unwilling to combat any challenges to it. Who's LOL'ing now?

338dmac Says:

Oct 14, 2009 - Thank you for making a point instead of going STRAIGHT FOR THE EMOTIONAL APPEAL. What a bunch of fluff this is. And if YOU want to believe that the entire fucking universe was made just for us, then be MY guest. "Darkness, oooooh, look out here comes my sky-daddy!" Either you have an argument or you do not. "Darkness", LOL! XD

338dmac Says:

Oct 14, 2009 - "... an interpretation of the facts by people using tortured logic to arrive at foolish conclusions. Not science." Well, somebody just discovered a brand new, perfectly befitting textbook definition of faith!

handofnergal Says:

Oct 18, 2009 - 5 starz!

lolgepwnt Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Why entertain these morons in the first place? They are simply spewing out garbage and hoping that considerable time and resources are spent in deciphering and debunking it. As a consequence, their 'cause' receives greater coverage. Just ignore these fuckers and let them go extinct.

bacchusreborn Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - where can i find that "oh noes who reduced my compleksiti" poster.

albanaeon Says:

Nov 3, 2009 - Non-potty trained fifteen year olds. I'll have to remember that...

graemesbest Says:

Nov 5, 2009 - Evolution is an observable phenomenon. Darwins theory was that it is driven by natural selection and the evidence for this is overwhelming. To think that in the 21st century there are still children being taught that we came into existence on the whim of an invisible dictator that lives in the sky, just because that's what our bronze age ancestors believed is both sad and depressing.
