Jun 20, 2009 - Chang had badly injured foot in this fight he "lost" to Zapata (the decision was very controversial). When Chang was healthy, well, you know what happened.

Jul 29, 2009 - If you're making excuses for Chang, then why not Zapata in the rematch, considering he'd just gotten out of jail prior to the rematch and was terribly weright weakened from trying to cut in such a short period of time,. He was a dead man walking in the rematch. That said, I also thought Chang clearly won their first fight, albeit in a very competitive affair that was understandably difficult to score given the contrast in styles. Chang was a phenom.

Sep 24, 2009 - Mowglie, I don't think I am making an excuse for Chang. As I have pointed out--and you agree--most people thought Chang won the first fight. So in their two fights, Chang ought to have taken both stanzas. I am also aware that Zapata couldn't train properly for the second fight; but in my opinion Chang's impairment in their first fight was greater.
