Sep 11, 2009 - Everyone is so much more energetic live than on the CR. Don't get me wrong, I love my copy, but on the CD, Danny Burstein doesnt have the comedic zing; Kelli OHara seems to have been asked to hold back. Its as if the whole cast were afraid of putting too much personal emotion into the recording of RH's 50 yr old score. I understand their respect 4 it, but it leaves songs like "Wonderful Guy" and "Nothing Like a Dame" w/out the needed punch that the cast clearly demonstrates they have live.
