Jul 13, 2009 - Gillermo, Drake played on every song on Spirit of 67. He even verified it on his website which is now gone. It was the last Raider album he was associated with. Spirit was recorded and released. Drake did the tracks in between doing his Guard duty. Incredible sense of rhythm, that guy.

It really explains why "67" has the same gut-punch, garage-rock feel of "Just Like Us" and "Midnight Ride." It's a shame that Sundazed Records (owned by Sony) failed to mention that in the booklet that accompanied their 1996 CD reissue...it would have been some long-overdue credit where credit was due.

Aug 12, 2009 - They were the best band ever!! Mark Lindsay is touring again, with the Teen Idols tour (Peter Noone Micky Dolenz), doing a solo tour -- performing next in Nichols, NY on Sept. 3rd, which I am traveling to, to see him!! I saw him on May 8th and he is STILL fabulous!! :-)

But.. the current version of PRR are absolutely fantastic, and do all the old hits. As a viet Nam vet, and rnr guitar player, this band fills every need I have for rock n roll for life. I'm a lucky one -- I can see them often at South Point hotel in Vegas, just a few blocks form my home. A big reunion in '79? That was 30 years ago! How time flys!
