Oct 18, 2009 - i seriously love this plane! she was and still is a great british french icon ! Should never have been taken out of service... She has inspired so many people!

mVakas Says:

Oct 24, 2009 - no doubt it is a good aircraft and one of its kind. But little problem with flying is that u have to consider other thing other then speed and type of aircraft that the efficiency of it because of it turbojet engines its cost of flying was very high and also the noise of the aircraft was very high as you all know it, and not many were purchased due to oil prices. There is a possiblity of an Reaction Engines A2 aircraft capable of mach 5 speed be introduced in future with high fuel efficiency.

Nov 1, 2009 - it is an international disgrace that this wonderful bird is still not flying. The powers to be should hang their heads in shame.

mancity1000 Says:

Nov 2, 2009 - Its not, it is a tribute compilation to Concorde. I knew because I went to visit the BA Concorde museum at Manchester Airport. This video is part of the tour

jackjohnbob Says:

Nov 10, 2009 - You've made excellent points, but please don't forget that Concorde is amazingly cool, very nice to see flying (in terms of it's shape), and it's just a revolutionary plane. Also, I really hope the Reaction Engines A2 is successful!

applesky007 Says:

Nov 11, 2009 - The emotion I have felt watching Concorde soaring over my little flat in Hounslow Heath. Watching the security man at the Police Riot Training Centre rush out to see her amused me. She turned every head. I was privileged enough to be airside around her. She was a beauty.

dougpeerless Says:

Nov 12, 2009 - A truly amazing Video, very emotional. I remember seeing her fly over my grandparents house when i was a child, my grandad was fascinated by her. Why Richard Branson's offer was refused i don't know but i think it a terrible shame.

qwertdr Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - Please - don't be so naive. Bransons offeren would NEVER have worked. Airbus were the ones that said no to Concorde. BA ACTIVELY LOOKED TO KEEP IT GOING BUT AIRBUS SAID NO. If BA, who operated it for 27 years, had the staff and had the aircraft couldn't do it, Virgin had no chance.

applesky007 Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - Concorde was British Airways pride and joy. If they could have kept it in the air, they would have. No one shed a more sincere tear than a BA employee when she slipped away from our control. Virgin having a Concorde? Never ever, ever.

dougpeerless Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - If you looked closer you would have seen that i said i don't know why the offer was refused. Now i do thank you. But i don't see there was any point in being rude about it was there?

qwertdr Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - Sorry, it's just people say it all the time - so much so that it really annoys me.

dougpeerless Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - I didn't realise, apologies. I don't know much about these fine machines. One ing you may be able to help me with as you seem to know a fair bit about them. Is it true that the BA aircraft were better maintained than the AF aircraft?

qwertdr Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - Don't worry, I shouldn't have snapped like that! BA could certainly afford more luxuries, as Concorde made them large profits - these included cow-catchers on the undercarriages (which help deflect debris) and the ability to buy new tyres when needed instead of retreading them. Generally the standards were the same, and I would not have any worries stepping onboard a BA or AF aircraft if they were still going.

superapple407 Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - quite agree :( BA didn't care if they lost thousands of money from concorde in it's later years, it was worth it. Virgin atlantic were/still are all money money money orientated.

qwertdr Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - Concorde never lost BA money in the later years, they at worst broke even.

superapple407 Says:

Nov 23, 2009 - Ba lost looodes of money from it, hense why they gave free flights away to push publicity.

kazza138 Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - I can't believe that a piece of metal can still bring a lump to my throat and a tear to my eyes...I LOVE THIS PLANE!!!!! R.I.P. Concorde xxx

jackmnsadler Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - OMG, I'm 14 and I will never get to ride that plane. If you work for BA, do me a favour bring her back.. PLEASE

qwertdr Says:

Nov 24, 2009 - The reason why I told you they mad money is because I AM TELLING THE TRUTH. They hardly gave any flights away. BA would often make £50 Million profit from the aircraft. The marketing effects also benefited the mainline flights greatly also. Don't be an idiot.
