Nov 15, 2009 - My Macbook Pro can run any game that a PC can. I can play Crysis on high settings, which is impressive for a laptop. Sure I have a Windows 7 partition installed on my Mac, but the point is, I can still do anything that a PC can. Bashing Macs for not being able to run games is a stupid. Macs run games perfectly! OS X however, does not. I like having a Mac with both OS X and Windows installed. It gives me the best of both operating systems. I use Windows for gaming and OS X for everything else.

DressedAsLife Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - So...you paid twice as much money to run Windows to play Crysis on your Mac? That sounds a little...retarted.

H3Vtux Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - throw out the macs, linux and windows is all you need.

H3Vtux Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - because mac is building an empire, they only want their products compatable with their products so you have to buy more of their shit. The idock and ihome both plug in via tha ipods ass thing, wheras sony, microsoft etc products plug in via the headphone cable which everything from a walkman to a cd player to an mp3 player has.

TheNetGuru17 Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - retarted sounds a little more retarded doesn't it??

Keydo7 Says:

Nov 15, 2009 - No. I payed the extra money to run OS X. I am simply stating that my Mac can do everything a PC can and more. There is not a single computer game or piece of software out there that my computer can't run. I have access to everything, and that is worth the extra money. Plus I love the aluminum casing, glass screen with amazing picture and color quality, the trackpad, seven hour battery life and the backlit keyboard. The design of the laptop is excellent and everything works perfectly together.

Nov 15, 2009 - only problem: its a mac

Keydo7 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - I use both OS X and Windows 7 and both are good in their own ways. Talking strictly about hardware and design, Apple computers are way ahead of any other computer manufacturer out there. The aluminum casing and unibody structure are genius ideas that make the laptop extremely durable. Plus the Magsafe power cord, multi-touch glass trackpad, backlit keyboard, glass screen, and built in accelerometers are great innovations as well. I am curious, what problems do you have with the Mac's hardware?

nefets99 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - the fact it cant run almost anything windows related... dont say a bunch of bullcrap about yes it can when you get so and so...almost all source engine mods and games fuck up on any type of mac, steam runs horribly on mac, most live games are hard to run or dont run on mac joining a non fucking linux server is near impossible on source so yeah gaming wise mac blows

Keydo7 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - You must be misinformed. I said no bullcrap. Running Windows on a Mac is no different from running Windows on any other computer. If you try to play games inside of OS X, then yes, they suck big time. But install a Windows partition on the Mac, and then it can run everything that a PC can. I can also install a Linux partition if I wish, I don't see any reason to, but I could.

Morbius2271 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - Mac Hardware isn't "way ahead of any other computer manufacturer out there". Macs use PC parts and chipsets. A shiny case and a large pricetag are the only thing that mac really has different from a PC.

Keydo7 Says:

Nov 16, 2009 - I agree with you there. They do use Nvidia Graphics cards, SATA hard drives just like PC's, but Apple IS leading the way in Computer innovation. Bill Gates is even quoted as saying "Make it just like a Mac". Apple had the worlds first unibody computer, backlit keyboard, Magsafe powercord, multi-touch trackpads, and they were the first to offer solid-state hard drives in their laptops. Now they just released the world's first multi-touch mouse. Apple has been leading the way for years.

Nov 20, 2009 - Interesting, I'm watching this... looking at my desktop with my installed games: World Of Warcraft, GuildWars, CounterStrike Source... and oh wait! I'm running Linux! How could it be? A sweet application called Wine that help you run pretty much every good game out there.

UpcomingAssassin Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Duh!! Ofc most games are for windows. It is the most popular software , it runs almost 95% of world's applications , why wouldn't they OFC make games for windows ? Mac is not a software for games...but as you can see , more and more games come out for mac as well ... so in a couple of years , this might change about windows having all games ;)

Nov 20, 2009 - Sounds like you bought a sports car..................which you can sit in and play music in, and roll downhill in, but had to buy an engine later from somewhere else to actually drive the damn thing. Oh and you had to install the engine, and also had to know/learn how. Makes sense......
