Sep 15, 2009 - I'm confused because of the start of Serenity, is that meant to be Simon rescuing River from the academy? (If so it clashes with previous claims of how he got her out) or is it him getting her out of another government facility? I think that if it's the latter they could simply carry on the original series and if it's unsuccessful let it trail off at the point serenity starts, with River getting captured somehow and Simon eventually rescuing her in the film.
