I didn't know what to reply my horror just amazed me and I thought 2 myself why God are people so miserable that no matter what they do they have to b ugly towards another? In my opinion even if his speech helped only 1 it's a blessing but it helped so many. I don't get mean ppl and never will. GodBless

Nov 14, 2009 - Someone gave you a "thumbs down" you know for the life of me and I am 38, I'll never get HATERS with ugly attitudes. I say if it helped only one than it's a blessing but this man motivated millions, some who are going through similiar situations. I don't (praise God) have Pancreatic Cancer, I do however have Chronic Pancreatitis and I can't imagine how he had the energy to do what he did in his last months the pancreas is a very painful disease no matter what is wrong with it. Nov 17, 2009 - That was a beautiful speech. Nothing could be more inspiring than someone who loves life so deeply, and is unafraid knowing that their life will be taken from them so soon. Those of us who have so much less to worry about complain about the hardships of life, but we could learn more than a few lessons from this man who was so honest about his mortality, and loved life right until his dying breath.

What he was saying was that you should never stop loving life, or abandon your dreams when faced with the hardships it presents. I don't see anything even remotely arrogant about that

His comment about the new car, soda, and kid with vomit...well...reminds me of the parent in a nice restaurant that let's his kid act nutty like they are in McDonalds...at the expense of other dinners.
