Oct 15, 2009 - I'm a female gamer and I know what you mean about talking to our friends. I love talking about video games (not 24/7 though) but none of my friends even play tetris.... Also, I love Super Mario, but I hate how they made Super Princess Peach so easy... I heard the game was specifically designed for girls and that's why they made it so easy, and it really made me mad. T_T I also hate how some guys assume that all female gamers are fat girls with nappy ugly hair when it's not true.

Then, I saw my older brother playing LoZ:OOT and at first I thought it was super scary (I was around 7, lol) but I played half of it 3 years later, and I finally finished it and Master Quest! Now I'm playing Halo AND Tomb raider.

I even work at a video game store. ^^ I like a lot of the more guy-centric video games like Halo, and even Dead or Alive. xD I also like the Sims! :3 It's just a big matter of personality and personal preference. :D

Oct 25, 2009 - Got two kids, neither boys but, maybe as a compunction to get approval from their game playing daddy, they both excel at gaming. My only worry is my youngest, 9, who has a tendancy to TK and actually laughs maniacally afterwards. Got to keep an eye on that one...
