Oct 29, 2009 - It was interesting growing up in CA. in the 60's. Mind you,I never smoked anything,no drugs,or didn't drink at all, but, I like the music. I'm sure I didn't understand the 'HIDDEN MEANINGS' like "Draggin the Line" or "Little Green Bag". After I graduated Hi School in '69 I moved to N.J. and was invited to Woodstock but, of course,I didn't go. I also did go to San Francisco in 68',but, did see some "real hippies" hangin around.outside the car window as we drove by.

Oct 30, 2009 - you sound like you need a real life, or at least a little excitement, drinking is no evil, a few drugs (although i never did) is no harm, let your hair down a bit, can i ask how old you are??
estelle715 Says:
Oct 30, 2009 - I am 58,graduated from hi-school in 69'. In 2 mos. I will become a 1st time grandma to a baby girl. Today is my 38th wedding anniversary! To the same man! Most of all, why, I didn't do drugs, smoke, etc. was I knew my mom wouldn't like it.Also I was raised in church and it was a big NO NO! I always tease my husband and say" You better watch out,I have never sowed my wild oats yet"! Honestly, I never liked the wild side of life, and I feel I never missed out on anything, except maybe Woodstock!
