Mar 20, 2009 - Hahaha...yes, it's quite obvious that she's too literal in her English-Indonesian translation. E.g. the expression "Tinggal dengan kami" - Tinggal = stay; dengan = with; kami = us; so she obviously wants to say "stay with us". Good try, but that's not proper Indonesian. The proper one would be "tetaplah bersama kami". Anyway, kudos to her - it's been years since she has anything to do with Indonesia yet she can still speak so much of the language!

You know how many asians who grew up in asia are short, but if you see 2 siblings, one of which was adopted and the other stayed, there usually is a pretty big difference in height. Maybe it's the food, less hormones and such.
