Yet Poland ended up under the Soviet Union which Hitler most wanted to destroy. Before the war, Stalin had already killed over 10 million of his own people. Hitler had killed only a few thousand, most former comrades. Hitler's defeat mainly helped the spread of communism, which collectively killed more people than all the casualties of WW2.. Weird stuff

That's the problem with having a good foreign policy, you can't read your opponent's mind. We need to find the balance between Vietnam and Munich in our foreign policy.
