Nov 2, 2009 - Isn't this tune from another song or ancient hymn? I hate to say this, but I was humming this the other day and someone said "that's from mulan, right?" At the moment I thought it was a stereotypical Chinese song/hymn. I don't mean to be ignorant (even though, as a Polish American with no study or background of Chinese culture, I am) I just have a feeling that Disney ripped the tune from a real Chinese prayer/hymn/song and added words. If anyone could shed some light, that would be great.
