KiloGolf92 Says:

Aug 11, 2009 - Ld20 measures out at 6.26", while the L2d measures out at 5.8". As far as function or capabilities go...who knows??

spamdog425 Says:

Aug 22, 2009 - how does the l2d compare with the l2t?

familybc146 Says:

Aug 26, 2009 - Yes, the LD20 is better than the older L2D. The LD20 has trapezoid threads now and a much better holster. The knurling is better too. It's also supposed to have a removable clip that you use if you want to clip it on a belt or in your pocket instead of using the holster. And for some reason the run times are better. For instance the L2D shows 1 1/2 hr compared to 2 hr in turbo mode. I don't know why. And the LD20 has an anti-roll hex feature on the body.

familybc146 Says:

Aug 26, 2009 - Also, the L2D can be had right now on ebay from one dealer for $52, and the LD20 is available from a dealer for $55, and these both include shipping. I just bought an LD20 there and the guy has 5 left. There are others to be had for $60. Deal Extreme has the L2D right now for $52.08 includes shipping. The LD20 is $60 there though. Best light for the money for a AA battery flashlight. I have a Surefire I hate the CR123's. I plan on using only rechargeable batteries.

familybc146 Says:

Aug 29, 2009 - Update: I just saw a dealer on ebay (8-29) with an olive LD20 with diffuser and batts for $60. I kicking myself for not ordering that one. I live the olive color.

Nov 3, 2009 - just got mine from amazon dropped some premium lithium batteries in it and fired it up wasnt to impressed turbo was about as bright as I was hoping normal would be no biggy still very bright however the tail switch is no longer working (3min after taking out of box) sounds and fells fine just wont come on I can short the neg battery end to the case and the light still works. overall 2 of 5 stars for 50+ bucks should work out of the box going to look around and see if this is a known issue
