Nov 25, 2009 - Not the most realistic Sherlock Holmes story representation. defiantly not like the books I mean, but will still be good.

Nov 25, 2009 - Haha. Hahaha. Hahaha XD. "Beneath this pillow, lies the key to my release." -snort- Oh my goodness. . I love all the people badding on the movie. I, for one, can't wait to see it. I might be a fan of the books, but I can be a fan of the movie just the same. Both are interesting in their own unique ways.

DefyantLove Says:
Nov 25, 2009 - the film is actually more faithful to the books than other adaptions. watson wasnt some fat, useless sidekick, and holmes was a bit of a hippie. only concern is rachel mcadams character for me, also she's a great actress. i really hope mark strong (the baddie) is good tho, he's brilliant in all of guy ritchies previous films
DefyantLove Says:
Nov 25, 2009 - oh, and there was a lot of fists in the book, although its was only mentioned in passing at the star of chapters, kinda like "Well, that was a bloody good fight".

Nov 25, 2009 - the cast looks so far from what I had in mind for a Sherlock Holmes movie...even that Robert Downey Jr. is awesome, Jude Law and Rachel Mc Adams will rock this movie, can't wait to watch it!

MarikaKM Says:
Nov 26, 2009 - It seems alright... I mean, I try to be open minded and all, and Jude Law seems a very good Watson, also looking foreward to see Mark Strong in this, but, I dunno, I guess Jeremy Brett will always remain the only true Sherlock Holmes (when talking tv/movies, that is). Downey seems just... odd. Which is great, Holmes is strange, very strange, but I don't see the genious, I just see the weirdo. Brett's portrayal was IMO so balanced and sharp, that I doubt this new guy can live up to that.

YetAnotherLook Says:
Nov 24, 2009 - What a shitty movie. Jeremy Brett is the definitive Holmes - it's like comparing George Bush to JFK.
