Sep 13, 2009 - add to wot u have said ,men die quick in wars or other ,alot of men r gays or homesexual, so some women r gonna b left without marriage ,,Islam is the solution u can marry up2 4 as long as u make justice among them.......peace

cimcombe Says:

Sep 14, 2009 - there where about 8 million more women then man in the year 1998!! and about 25 million gays so that means if everybody would marry there would be more then 30 million women who couldnt get a man in normal civilized life!! so without cheating and everything what is in a marriage!! islam is the answer,if you can give the women you marry the same rights and the same material things and lovin you can marry up to 4!! ever think about it???

shahil101able Says:

Sep 18, 2009 - A muslim man doesn't "say" this, not women too, its god who set those laws for muslims. You haven't heard any about men responsibilities towards women, you should do more reading, there's alot to read from. Man to make love with many women? If he marries with the women and be fair with all his wives and if he doesn't do justice, he will have to answer in the day of judgment.

Oct 1, 2009 - in the book of deuternomy in the bible it clearly says: the hair of the women is her jewelry she shall cover it!!, christians don't cover their heads any more, I think this is ok, but also I think that muslim women should be free in wearing scarfs, I just think the covering of the face is too much, a muslim women who chooses to wear a scarf is never oppressed

halima132 Says:

Oct 23, 2009 - Strange thing is happening in the Muslim world, and I would call it obsession about women. You don't need to save guard your woman and daughters as if they where gold. Come on people let's not take it too far. I see some of your comments here and no one hears what this man is doing. So what if your wife chose not to wear hijab? Does that mean she is less moral and she will not come home? Hijab should be a personal think, it's up to the woman to wear it and shouldn't b pressured by anybody

halima132 Says:

Oct 23, 2009 - We Muslims have bigger problems then hijab today in the world man. Our brothers and sisters are killed on a daily basis and I dont see these Scholars do anything about it. Why dont they do something about Afghanistan and all the other Muslims countries that are terrorised by the US and the UK? But no we Muslims are still hanging up about how a Muslim woman should behave and should dress.

halima132 Says:

Oct 23, 2009 - We defend ourselves when we are accused of oppressing Muslim women, but at the same time we treat our women as if they dont have a voice or brains. We talk about them as if they are properties. Come on man. I love my religion I believe Islam is the solution to all man kind. But hey lets not jump over the bridge here. Give Muslim women more credit, dont compare her to gold or a pin code for God sake.

igwamna Says:

Oct 26, 2009 - Offcourse the scholars are doing alot,is just that we listen but we dont follow what we learn from them.U cannot solve the problems our brothers and sisters are facing when we are not truly muslims. How can u strenghten your iman if u cant put little things into practice.just like wearing Hijab or a husband not treating his wife with humility.Lets solve our personel problems with respect to what we do as an individual then the whole muslim world will change.

igwamna Says:

Oct 26, 2009 - A wife is not a property, she is a companion,a legal friend,an advisor name it.Therefore all muslims should treat their women in kindness just like the prophet said(S.A.W). But logically if I hear someone calls his wife his property I will b very happy.Because it signifies love,as human beings we dont like to associate ourselfs with things we dont like and cherish.Property also signifies rivery, she is mine men not any other person's.Thats logic.

senja71 Says:

Oct 29, 2009 - Terrorized in Afghanistan by U.S.??? And the Taliban-rule was a walk in the park??? Ungrateful..

Adnowwwwn Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - There is no doubt that many "Islamic" countries don't know nearly enough about the religion to preach it to their children...Pakistan for instance, in most situations of my childhood, reading the Qur'an or praying was used as a punishment. So no surprise that women are mistreated in other Islamic countries.

Adnowwwwn Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - There are "Islamic" countries that don't even posses the proper understanding of the religion required to preach it to their kids, so no doubt women are mistreated in other Islamic countries. The religion is used against them to make them feel like 2nd class citizens.

Adnowwwwn Says:

Oct 31, 2009 - He compared them to gold or a PIN in the sense that we need to PROTECT them. Women have their own good qualities but physical strength is not one of them. It is our responsibility as men to protect them with our lives, as we would our gold, or savings.
