Nov 16, 2009 - @zeroswings2 if it's a shallow and non deadly cut you leave yourself open though, without a guarding blade the guy who just go sliced a little can cause mroe damage, these little performances only try to prove who is faster of more skilled wiht his or her desxterity.

Nov 23, 2009 - The fights are often short, because kendo spars are based on samurai training for katana (samurai swords). If you take a strong hit from a real katana, it will cut you in half, they are as sharp as a razor blades and quite heavy. The first hit would popbably kiil the opponant, but just in case, they added another point to make sure and finish him off:)

Nov 23, 2009 - They are all fatal in their own way. 1. Head- Get cut in half or chopped off. 2. Torso- Body cut in half 3. Hands- Cut off making you weaponless, then your head or torso is done for.

Nov 24, 2009 - Your logic is same as if I poke someone hard with a pen, he/she will die from bleeding eventually. Aside from the points in the game, striking the head seems more prestigious in a way because a strike to the head is a kill for sure.
