May 21, 2008 - just a quick note that you don't want to use polyester resin(the one on this video) on EPS board as first it will eat/melt the foam away and second ,it will not adhere to epoxy resin. always wear glove when deal with any resin as it will enter your body and do some nasty stuff to you.

May 21, 2008 - Also clean the board with acetone so it clean whenever old, wax residue on the surface. It is ok to use plastic container(milk container and most clear drink bottle), just don't used styrofoams cup as that is same as EPS, it will melt through when use with polyester resin. Most newer board used EPS foam core so beware of it. Good job on the video.

Aug 20, 2008 - my nose on the board is split up the sides. and the tip of the nose is shattered about 15mm into the board. any ideas on how 2 fix. i got the repair kit. i know how 2 repair dings and that. but not sure if its the same way with the fiberglass been shattered or split. i had 2 take some of the wood outa the nose about 15mm. can i replace that with the foam i got with kit? hit back when u can. cheers.

Dec 31, 2008 - How bad does a ding have to be to be repaired. I have like 2 dings on my board that has like 1 hairline crack on each that looks like it's below the top layer of resin, but I'm not sure.

Jul 14, 2009 - Me too. A few dings aren't a problem though- I'm thinking my board is fucked cause the glassing around the fins is weak, my buddy said that's can be difficult to repair.
