Aug 25, 2009 - some people think that without listening to the song, because of the title. Haunted House and Gene was pretty scarey too.

Sep 28, 2009 - To me this is the best track on John Fogerty's new CD. Worth the price of the CD just for this track and "When Will I Be Loved" with Springsteen.

Nov 13, 2009 - I googled some of the lyrics to this song and found out who made it FINALLY!! My uncle recorded this record on an old TDK cassette along with a ton of blues records for my Dad waay back in the 70's. I still have that old tape but as you can imagine the sound is terrible now some 30+ years later. Thanks whopfrog for posting this,so now I can go to my oldies record shop and find it. They have TONS of vintage vinyls and I'm sure they'd have it. This record came out on Hi? I never knew!!!

whopfrog Says:

Nov 13, 2009 - I spend too much time and money in record stores. The original label was black. This is a later pressing. This was a hit in the summer of 1964.
