Nov 17, 2009 - Okay. I knew she was good, but that's all. Just good. I wondered whether she had any really depth - clearly she has a strong voice, but it seemed to lack poise. Then I listened to THIS version of Cry Me a River. And I have to replace my "good" with "great." Great voice, great control, and a bit of passion. IMPRESSIVE. This lady's really shown some style in this one. I'm not sure how she kept her gift under wraps so long, but it's refreshing it's out now. Wow.

Nov 18, 2009 - By sheer luck - and astute eBay bidding - I now own TWO of the 1,000 "Sounds Of West Lothian CDs from whence this MP3 most likely was extracted from. The full, rich, gorgeous sounds of Susan off the CDs even with my average PC audio hardware make this MP3 rip hopelessly pitiful in comparison. Susan's 1998 rendition here absolutely, postively ranks merit with her commercial CD, indeed it IS a true classic onto itself.

Nov 20, 2009 - I believe some of the reason any people are referring to her looks are that they themselves cant believe that good of a voice coming out of what they think of as an unattractive woman. they just don't know how to react and refer to the negative because its more comfortable to default to.
