Oct 12, 2009 - I think this was released in january 1983 not 1982.

nzoz1982 Says:

Oct 13, 2009 - January 1982 in Australia.... I posted this, I should know.

wawawis Says:

Oct 13, 2009 - On the cd I have, the songs from this album actually have a 1981 date, which is probably when the songs were recorded. So without looking it up, January '82 makes a lot of sense. Through the years, I've heard DJ's quote 1982 with this song several times. So I know it's not January of '83. So guys, you have the poster of this video and an owner of many compact discs, who has listened to a lot of radio, in agreement!

nzoz1982 Says:

Oct 14, 2009 - Cheers... just to add, the previous single was 'Busting Loose' and that was released around September 1981. "What About Me' was definitely in the early months of 1982. By January 1983, they were quickly beginning to become an old hat with a year old one hit song and I think their fans were running out of patience.

Oct 29, 2009 - this version is better but why is every one giving nolls a bad rap he does ok

beachie670 Says:

Oct 29, 2009 - NuDecade, I totally agree with you. I give give of my time, efforts compassion show I care, ask about those who I know are down...but what about me? People don't realize HOW often they take others for granted. How much of a time slot does it take to call ask about something you know has someone down, crazed, stressed or upset? 2 secs to dial a phone, text or other things you do to OTHER people.

NuDecade Says:

Oct 29, 2009 - Believe me, I know how you feel! Just hang in there and keep doing the right thing. There'll come a time when someone in your life does for you! You'll see. :)

beachie670 Says:

Oct 29, 2009 - Well, I thought it was my friends that I could count on more than my family, but you know, even though I don't have children, I still have a busy schedule w/my work, other job, 3 sick family members to take care of, yet I still ask about how others' probs are going just text or e-mail, etc. to check up on them. They can text, yak on the phone, or FB all the time, but they make excuses that they haven't forgotten you...just don't have time. BA-loney.

CRDT Says:

Oct 29, 2009 - an almost forgotten gem from 1982. i've always loved this song. thank you for posting.

Nov 3, 2009 - i love this song i just wish i wouldnt follow me for weeks and months after i listren to it, SO SO SO sticky, in the head that is, great song, shannon, poor thing, tried his best but its the same as covering any classic song, you have to do it different drastically, or better drastically, otherwise it is a tired attempt at musicality. Peace and love to all the ME's out there, there are many of us, SMILEY FACE

cevanbrown Says:
