I'll admit that 5 years may have been a stretch (3 years probably isn't) but Ron's defense has been just fine and he's more equipped to deal with the Melos and the LeBrons. Melo roasted our asses in the WCF for the first 2 games until Kobe switched. Ron gives us more depth in the event of an injury, and gives us much more favorable matchups.
