Nov 20, 2009 - Why don't "pros" play guitar with their teeth? If not I guess Jimi should have read the guitar player manual more carefully. 'cause you know there are def. rules to what guitar player can and cannot do. I'd imagine Hendrix would rather be regarded as an artist than a "pro" following the laws and nature of Mr. Guitar. Hendrix was an artist and for guitar he was one of the best. This is about progressing music and challenging ideas, it doesn't work every time but its exciting because it was new.

Nov 21, 2009 - I looked at your favs and i see lots of Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler videos. I have played guitar for many years now and I consider myself to know a lot about it. You can't say anything bad about either of those guitar players technique, they are technically flawless. Sorry but I'm not impressed by that. Every time I watch a Hendrix video I see 100 people post guitarists that can play a million notes a million times faster/better than Hendrix, and still I don't care. I still love Hendrix.

Nov 22, 2009 - he's a selfthought guitarist he learned to play using a ukelele and later he went to electric guitar. maybe he doesnt have a fine technique like others, as 3439ra says. but however: WAKE UP guitar playing is not about technique its about feeling, and when you see/hear hendrix play you feel what he is feeling THAT'S whats guitar playing is about
