Nov 14, 2009 - He released Ner'zhul/Lich King. Ner'zhul was once Orc shaman and it was part of his fault that orc's became the slaves of Burning Legion. Demon lord Kil'jaeden tricked him to believe that Dranei were their enemy back when all orcs still lived in Draenor (now Outland) and their skin was brown. If you want to learn more about this, then you should read the Warcraft book Rise of the Horde. Anyway when Ner'zhul found out that Orcs were just pawns, it was already too late

Kil'jaeden "teleported" this new born Lich King into Azeroth, Northrend to be exact and Ner'zhul's mission was to create a new army that would do what the orcs have failed to do...prepare Azeroth for Legion's new arrival.

So was the Undead Scourge borne, and Ner'zhul had also plans for Prince Arthas. And if you dont already know the rest of the story then you should also play Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and expansion the Frozen Throne, I'm too tired to write anymore :P

In the end THe alliance will always win,,they own in all the warcraft games,,world of warcraft is just an MMO it has no true story,,they will continue warcraft story in Warcraft 4. THrall is cool and his orcs,,but i like HUmans more,,Look how beast humans were,,we have arthas and he owns. Best story line ever Warcraft from 1 - 3 and frozen throne expansion.
