Nov 18, 2009 - I've said it for years, people simply check the box "Christian" on countless forms but it's not legit. They don't attend church and don't abide by the religion. They attend church for a few years as a child and are brainwashed into some degree of loyalty for life. This is how the corrupt control those of pure intentions. How people like Barack Obama control us.

intermender Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - I doubt that: Your ebulliant exclamation seems at odds with the toxic and depressive effects of that substance.

BungalowBud Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Gib Aleop Aeri, You could believe what you see in your dreams if influenced by the right Spirit. God said that young men will have his dreams in the last days - are you ready for good dreams? Your list of good men didn't inlude Elvis Presley Michael Jackson? They were like God's. One way to dilute Jesus is to compare him as one of the gang. He only raises the dead. Please voice your choice.

Nov 19, 2009 - Jon Deth, Good observation man. Even a big Baptist church admitted that they only hold their crowd for 3 years and he was looking at me. Problem for him is, their doctrine falls short of what Jesus said to do. I'm under out top evangelist prophet for 35 years - no letup here - see my webby. Barrack Baby himself is controlled.

Gibaleopaeri Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Oh wow, although the whole reason I replied to your comments a few times was because I was looking forward to arguing with you and noting how you reply to certain questions, this was an awesome reply, very puzzling. So suddenly you seem pretty cool. Also, I probably would have never thought of my name as being three perfectly good on their own names, heh, that's also cool. About your comment though, I feel I probably don't understand exactly what you're asking. And oop out of space.

BungalowBud Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Gib, I have nbeen accused of beuing way out too. Your sharp for your age and I only found out these things at 35, now 71. There is so much junk but I searched the US radio, TV, etc. for thr best ministers that matches with the Bible. Also, found out secret organizations that rule the world and prophecy says they must have their way. However, our best USA prophet calls the shots for the US and the Christians. He names the ministers to fall and God brings them down.

Nov 19, 2009 - America is NOT a Christian nation, it is a federal constitutional republic that numbers amongst its various citizens groups who subscribe to Christianity and are collectively a Christian nation - But the constitution is the overarching principle by which freedom is enjoyed by every citizen; in a Christian state the only people allowed freedom would be Christians, the rest would be repressed and therefore exploited. Compare with Islamic state and Totalitarian State, Oligarcy, Dictatorship, etc.

ESixz Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Like that ancient empire, the United States abounds in Christian trappings. Yet it embraces virtually all the values that have been common to empires for centuries.

ESixz Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Jesus counseled peace, but the empire practiced violence. Jesus counseled humility, but the empire engaged in a ruthless pursuit of power. Jesus counseled concern for the poor, but the empire practiced exaltation of the rich. Jesus counseled modesty, but the empire practiced extravagance. Jesus counseled simple living, but the empire encouraged luxurious living for people of means. And while Jesus counseled forgiveness and love for one's enemies, the empire practiced vengeance.

ESixz Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Obviously, there is a profound sense in which the United States is a Christian nation. After all, about 80 percent of Americans claim to be Christian. But the Christian character of the United States is comparable to the Christian character of the Roman Empire after Constantine. If one compares the Christian dimensions of the Holy Roman Empire with the teachings of Jesus, the differences are stunning.

ESixz Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Earthly nations - even so-called "Christian" nations - embrace values that are inevitably nationalistic and tribal, caring especially for the welfare of those within their borders. And while the kingdom of God exalts the poor, the disenfranchised, and the dispossessed, earthly nations inevitably exalt the rich and powerful, and hold them up as models to be emulated. In fact, in the context of earthly nations - even so-called "Christian" nations - the poor seldom count for much at all.

ESixz Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - According to the biblical text, the kingdom of God relies on the power of self-giving love, while nations even so-called Christian nations rely on the power of coercion and the sword. For that reason, nations - even "Christian" nations - inevitably go to war against their enemies, while the kingdom of God has no enemies at all The kingdom of God is universal, and those who promote that kingdom care deeply for every human being in every corner of the globe, regardless of race or nationality.

ESixz Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Any attempt to measure the Christian character of the nation would have to take seriously the only phrase in the biblical text - "the kingdom of God" - that is even remotely analogous to the idea of a Christian nation.

ESixz Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - It is quite clear that the United States rejects the values Jesus. It is curious, then, that anyone would seriously claim that the United States is a Christian nation.

ESixz Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - The presidents point here, of course, was that the United States is not only a country of Christians, but also a country of Jews, Sikhs, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, atheist and others. The fact that you would be offended by his commenst- I find that absurd .

AshelyJ26 Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - It's a Christian nation. The constitution was based on Christian principles and values. No, you don't have to be Christian to live in a Christian nation. The difference between us and different nations based on another religion is that we allow you to believe what you want here.

intermender Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - Give an example of a uniquely Christian principle or value that is in the constitution.

elvgero15 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - American is not a Christian nation its a Christian dominated nation yes but that doesn't mean America is a Christian nation...and by the way the founding fathers of this nation were secular in nature.

elvgero15 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Just like in ROME.

Emella1 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - not being rude but you are really mistaken if you believe that lie about the founding fathers...look at the first few presidents inauguration speeches..also the statements made by the 2 fathers of jurespudence, even an adress from Franklin to a group of men writing the constitution....there is countless and overwhelming evidence

JonWRowe Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Yes just look at the first few inauguration speeches where they mention God but not Jesus. Just like with Franklin's proposal for prayer at the Constitutional Convention which was ignored.

BungalowBud Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Let Jesus decide if we are a Christian Nation or not. Actually, we better become a better one or we are gone. The founding fathers had enough of God and Benjamin tried for prayer to help us but thank God for George Washington's mom which prayed for George as he also prayed, read the Bible to his troops and had an angel tell him about the 3 wars in the US - the 3rd is almost ready - read my webby.

Nov 20, 2009 - Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty! Do NOT associate with those given to CHANGE! Do NOT be afraid of sudden terror, Nor of trouble from the wicked when it comes, For the Lord will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught. The wicked flee when noone pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion - Proverbs FEAR NOT, PRAY FOR YOUR ENEMY - Jesus
