Oct 6, 2009 - what we be a good fish for a kid who weighs 45kgs and often surfs in small surf and his 5'6 short board doesnt do the trick
GlobalSurfIndustries Says:
Oct 6, 2009 - I would just go for the 5'9 Super Fish. It will do him for a couple of years for sure. Cheers GSI

Oct 16, 2009 - this board kicks very serious ass. in 2 foot slop to overheaad waves this board cant be beat. in bigger surf it definetly takes a few sessions to wrap your head around the speed, which of course is a good thing, but dialed in with the right fin setup this board destroys waves. surfed the 5'9" epoxy and the 6' epoxy and it truly is a one board quiver. surfed it all over hawaii. hasnt let me down yet. every single person ive had try it loves it...

Oct 16, 2009 - agreed...im 91 kilos and 6 feet 5 inches tall, i can surf the 5'9" your grom will fly on that board.

Oct 27, 2009 - im 6'7 and 145 and i want to get a 6'3 7S superfish. i have been a snowboarder for all my life and im 14. i was wondering if this surboard is right for me. also im a beginner surfer and i skimboard
GlobalSurfIndustries Says:
Oct 27, 2009 - HI, I might suggest that you go up to the new 6'6 or the 6'8. Because of your height and being a beginner. The easier it is to get waves the better you will get. Also the bigger board will help you in smaller surf but will not affect the performance when it gets a bit bigger. Go for it.
Supersaltman Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - ok thank you for your advice. i mean i really want to buy this board and like all my surf friend recommend it for me but is there a 6'5. also one thing a like is a easy-intermedite board thats not a longboard because i want to be able to like cut hard into waves and have more control.
GlobalSurfIndustries Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - Go the 6'6' we don't do a 6'5. Ride it as hard as you can. It will take your surfing to a new level.
Supersaltman Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - alright, thank you globalsurf for all of the advice. i live in flrodia and this board is perfect for florida because all there is, is chop and you cant use a longboard on it and the superfish is like the sizes of a shortboard and thats all you can use here. also what is the difference between the 7S superfish and the 7S superfish epoxy.
GlobalSurfIndustries Says:
Oct 28, 2009 - If you are hard on boards go for the Epoxy it is pretty tough and goes really well. I like the lightness of it myself. Cheers and you will love this board for sure.
