xQueenKristinx Says:

Jun 9, 2009 - "It's the middle class family that's been destroyed by it's incessant perversion." Banning gay marriage isn't suddenly going to make the homosexuals go "Wow, you're right! I should marry the opposite sex and start a family!". Nothing's being taken away here. Your "family unit" isn't being impeded upon. Gays are going to live outside your "core American values", date, love and become committed to each other whether you let them get married or not. Can't you just let these people be happy?

Jun 9, 2009 - I'm often barred from from getting into night clubs, but I'm pretty sure it's not because I'm a transsexual. Who's gonna help me from unjust behavior?

Jun 10, 2009 - In response to a comment that posted about mine.. ..The whole point to my response, not to the video, but the prejudice leaving their comments on here,.. If America is going to base human rights on biblical law, then they need to take a good look at all of the pedophiles, rapists, porn stars ect...who are marrying in a church of God while GLBT have their rights denied/taken away. It's a double standard!

Jun 11, 2009 - yeah.. im immpressed a country in a 3rd world country accepts and changes the constituion just for the happiness of very kind of sex in their country,.,,

greatguy200 Says:

Jun 12, 2009 - The reason why transgender (like Crystal) was barred from the nightclub, is because if guys tend to meet women, and don't know if they were really men, how can they date and not know about that they are really transgender?

expression331 Says:

Jun 12, 2009 - Its the responsibity of the individual to have conversations with their partner about their identities. If your not comfortable finding out that your one night stand was once a man maybe your should get to know the person better first.

Jul 20, 2009 - i don't get why she has a male id card if she's living and working as a woman. maybe if she just dressed up to go clubbing or something I can understand but not when she's living as a female, just seems odd.

arin4fun Says:

Jul 29, 2009 - Many countries won't allow transgender people to change their ID to say female, even if the person lives their entire life as female or has had their penis removed. Most Countries including the USA still do not include transgender people under federal discrimination laws. Even Canada who Federally legalized gay marriage years ago, still does not have any discrimination protection for transgender people.

enigmatically Says:

Jul 29, 2009 - okay...but she caused Thailand to bring about anti-discrimination laws...but she still walks around with a male ID? Surely if Thailand is forward-thinking enough to have anti-discrimination laws, it would be possible now for her to get a valid ID card.

arin4fun Says:

Jul 29, 2009 - Don't bet on it In some provinces in Canada they will not give you any ID (Drivers License, etc) with female until after you have had your penis removed with surgery. However you are required by the doctors to live every day for at least 1 year as a female before the doctors will clear you too have the surgery to remove your penis. Then it takes another 6+ month to get in to have the surgery provided you have the $18k to pay for it So you will live at least 18 months with male on your ID

arin4fun Says:

Jul 29, 2009 - In the US I know of a girl that has Female on her ID, female name, and looks like a women. However because she works for the government she is required to use the public washrooms for men until she has her penis removed. Transgender people have to deal with a lot of unfair rules that "out" them as transgendered to the public. In the US chances of being murdered general public is 1 in 26,000, as a Transgender 1 in 12. Do a utube search for "Transgender Murder! Insights with Dr. Buzz"

enigmatically Says:

Jul 29, 2009 - Well that is stupid. I don't see any point in being so static about gender designation on a government-issued ID. There aren't that many cases where one's birth gender should play a role in anything. Ideally people should be accepting of each other. But I'd hate to take a hot girl to a club and then have her feel weird and embarrassed or denied access because a jumper sees her having a male ID card because some stupid law won't let her get one with the right gender designation

enigmatically Says:

Jul 29, 2009 - I wish people would not look to genitals as the sole factor for gender identification. That is stupid. I guess it is hard for me to understand as a bisexual why people get so caught up by genital mismatches and can't divorce genitals from gender.

angellehk Says:

Aug 9, 2009 - I'm amazed by how fast their constitution got rewritten. You'll never see anything like that happening in the United States.

lilyhwangathotmail Says:

Aug 12, 2009 - i am totally for change, especially in the constitution. but this is a silly legal question: if the constitution was rewritten into thai law during a coup (which thailand is still currently feeling its undercurrents), doesn't it make it that much easier to disavow and again "dis-acknowledge" the rewritten law of lawful requirement to not discriminate against transgenders?

PirateKing1256 Says:

Oct 30, 2009 - Thailand is so open-minded about gay/lesbian/trans issues. All countries should learn from them.
