They were covered from an elevated position and had no cover aside from the shower stalls and that barely qualifies (e.g. if they're avoiding bullets from guys firing on one side they'll be in open view to the guys on the other side). The thing that just confused me is how they didn't take a single corrupt marine to the grave with them. But still even in real life the Navy SEALs would've failed.

But ten years later you see he regrets the decision and the blood on his hands. the men under him are rabid dogs. I think the SEal team should have taken at least one or two or with them. when Kyle reese pulls out his 9mm and fires away defiantly is classic.
