Nov 13, 2009 - What about those who modded Half-Life 2 and made Zombie Panic: Source? Do they suck? What about the company that modded Half-Life 2 and made Counter Strike Source? What about the mod for the PC port of Resident Evil 4 to get the graphics better? Do they suck? Please, think before you type. There are many kinds of mods in a game. If you have Steam you can see all the fun games that are mods of other games. This is more of a save file cheat than an actual mod.

Nov 15, 2009 - You need to figure out the hexagonal system. It uses 0-F rather than 0 to 9. Translated to Hex normal numbers are: 1-1 2-2 3-3 4-4 5-5 6-6 7-7 8-8 9-9 10-A 11-B 12-C 13-D 14-E 15-F 16-10. And it goes like that the same way all the time. It's not too complicated, it's just not used normally outside programming languages.

Nov 15, 2009 - Uhm, that's exactly what I said with less actual examples, better spelling and better graphics. Though it's not a mod as long as only the same physic engine or graphic engine is used. The physyic engine Source used by Valve doesn't make Left4Dead a remake of HL2. The fact that both Company of Heroes and Super Smash Bros Brawl use Havoc doesn't make those mods of each other. Both Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker and Borderlands use cel shading, are those mods of each other too?

Nov 18, 2009 - WAAAY too much work. You can just use the save editor created for Borderlands and it works just as well. It is a hex editor designed for the Borderlands save type, with a nice GUI. That way you aren't running around like a chicken with your head cut off just trying to add backpack slots.

Have the ability to carry what may seem to be an unlimited number of weapons, mod kits, upgrades, health packs, shields, etc... etc... Just about all Hex Editors have hex / decimal calculators and / or converters built into the program. There are also plenty of stand alone programs and online web based calculators. Here is one example of such a web site; http://www.subnetonline.com/pages/converters/hex-to-bin-to-dec.php GOOGLE is your friend. TUTORIAL: 1.The folder ID for Borderlands is 545407E7. 2. Copy and Open up your "Save000_.sav" file for your character. 3. Search the file for the Hex equivalent (Use a Decimal to Hex Calculator) of the current max capacity of your backpack. This value is generally located just after your last "ammopool" and rigth before the first item item in your backpack identified as, ""gd_itemgrades" in the gamesave. Example: If your backpack can hold 12 items, then you would search for "000C" in Hex. - If you find multiple results, of which none are located in the same area (ASCII text field) as shown in the video, you can try adding more blank bytes of "00" in the front of your search to narrow the results. Example: "000000OC". 4. Replace this value with whatever you want your max capacity to be, but it cannot be higher than "FFFF", which is 65,535 (decimal). - IMPORTANT: If you make it any higher, the game and console will FREEZE when you load the game and go into the Inventory screen to view your backpack. - Even if you max out the backpack, you can still repair Claptraps, and do the backpack upgrades without the game freezing! TIP(S): 1. If you drop a large amount of items into a pile, there will be a slight lag delay when you get out of the menu and then all the items will EXPLODE and FLY UP INTO THE AIR! It's pretty neat to see. 2. If you mod your backpack to have over 42 slots, you will receive an achievement the next time you repair a Claptrap. This is for the following achievement: Fully Loaded 10G - Rescue enough Claptraps to earn 42 inventory slots. WHAT ELSE YOU WILL NEED: 1. XBOX 360 Memory Card or Hard Drive. 2. Transfer Cable/Device. Can be purchased at any gaming related retailer. Such products include the DATEL/INTEC Xbox 360 Xsata or Xport for harddrives and memory cards and the Xbox 360 Transfer Kit for Memory Cards. You can even use the Microsoft Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Cable. Call Xbox Support to purchase the MS Transfer Cable Kit. 4. Software such as Xplorer360 or Xport. Use any search engine to easily find these programs. 5. Programs such as Xplorer 360, Xport, etc... As well as a valid Resigner/Rehasher (Concept) or a "Hash Block Calculator". In addition to a Hex Editor to edit your Xbox 360 files, all of which can be found using any Search Engine. 6. A Decimal / Hex Converter. Most hex editors include a hex / decimal converter for converting values between formats. You can also easily find free web based hex converters using any Search Engine. 7. If you've never accessed your Xbox files on a computer, there are plenty of tutorials found on the web. Our tutorial here assumes you have a basic understanding on how to access Xbox files.
