inkeeperqtlmn3 Says:

Oct 18, 2009 - No offence at all. But kind of a stupid thing to say. There isn't any world artist that after 30 can't play piano, guitar (sing, harmonica) :)

Oct 24, 2009 - i miss you awalshx27:) :(.

cracks21229 Says:

Oct 24, 2009 - What a peformance. It's amazing how some lower middle class kid from Freehold, NJ, who had no training in music beyond three minute rock and roll records could touch so many people with a song played solo on the piano. Amazing.

BoltSpeedman Says:

Oct 25, 2009 - yes. They were both written on the piano. They were struggling with tenth avenue freeze out when steve van zandt came in the studio and composed the horn part of that song. if you notice the piano on that song is simple but efficient, and same on born to run. Roy Bittan added that touch to make it what it was but for the Springsteen did write the parts on the piano

BobReidy Says:

Oct 25, 2009 - Really,I did not know that about Born to Run.I knew the story about Steve Van Zandt and the horns but I never knew Roy Bitian inserted a small piano part.Where did you hear this?

BobReidy Says:

Oct 28, 2009 - Very true. This preformance puts tears in my eyes since its so beautiful. This is my moms favorite song by him and I think of her when I hear it.For that reason it also makes me cry.

CPSJSMSUUMUGA Says:

Nov 9, 2009 - Get the 30th anniversay package commemorating the release of "Born to Run." He does a version of "For You," alone, on piano, that is so great he could be channeling God. In fact, I think that version is on Youtube somewhere. Try "springsteen" "for you." He also does an awesome version of Incident on 57th Street. You must know he has toured twice alone. On the Devils Dust tour in 2005 he played many instruments, plus a lot of piano. He's a great arranger. Hell, he's just great!

thepcfella Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - if yis like this, check out paul connells new song by typing in 'paul connell for you'.its fantastic!!

yabanjames Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - This Dylan imitation seems silly and forced; I haven't paid much attention to Springsteen since the late '80s--has his voice really changed like this, or is it affected? I would have thought he wanted to minimize the Dylan comparisons over the years, not force them.

gemimapoo Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Beautiful.....

gemimapoo Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - I went to see him in Hampden in Scotland in July- the most fantastic concert I have EVER been too.... I know it will be yours also.... ENJOY!!! ;)

bugattibowler Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - No, it's forced here, but I agree.

bugattibowler Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - Spirit in the Night/Indicent on 57th Street from Live in Barcelona too.

XxKGB75xX Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - he had this weird twang thing going on in the early 2000's... i think his current singing voice is better.
