Nov 6, 2009 - I love it when Ratigan refers to Wall Street as "the casino" which he does on a regular basis. I think he got disgusted with CNBC.
Melville10 Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - I agree. Ratigan admitted on one episode of his show "I am not a Democrat. I am not a Republican. But I am a taxpayer". He also refers to Wall Street as "the casino".
ctfloyd Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Paul and Ratigan nailed it, the little MSNBC troll(who just wants to be invited to Obama gala's)ought to just STFU! Yes you beotch!, we do need to suffer!, 20 + years of unchecked greed and selfishness in the private/public sector calls for a consequence, OUR CONSEQUENCE, not our kids and grand-kids. America is stuck on stupid, biggest bank robbery in the history of the world, and nobody cares...while others(little MSNBC troll)want it to continue. To quote Rev Wright...GD America(n stupidity)

Nov 6, 2009 - This guy Rattigan is growing on me. I don't always agree with him, but he's not a shill for wall street nor an apologist for the federal government.
joepeeler34 Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Let's not forget that it is the Fed's easy money policies that created the moral hazzard to begin with. People who in many instances aren't especially knowledgeable about investing get lured in by these Fed created financial bubbles. People also are forced to invest their money in equities because the federal government is constantly basing the dollar. Most people won't make the coice to save money that is being slowly destroyed by our glorious central planners at the Fed.
joepeeler34 Says:
Nov 6, 2009 - Investing in the stock market doesn't have to be akin to gambling. It ends up being gambling when people invest in stocks instead of companies. Too many people play the greater fool strategy when buying stocks instead of doing alot of due diligence before investing their money. Leaving your money with a money manger at a mutual fund is dangerous too because they are always chasing short-term profits. There is no substitute for specific knowledge gleaned by alot of research. No shortcuts!

Nov 13, 2009 - 4:10 Would you rather live a lie Mr. Radigan? I sure wouldn't, no matter what the ramifications. It will be far worse for the people who lose the power than those who neer had it in the first place.
Melville10 Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - Ratigan has been pretty tough on Wall St. and the Fed since his move to MSNBC. I can't blame him for leaving CNBC. They lost 50% of their viewership and two of their shows (Mad Money, Kudlow Report) are on the chopping block.
Melville10 Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - Watt and Frank---hypocrites.
Melville10 Says:
Nov 23, 2009 - Ron Paul 3:16 "I just ended the fed".
