Dec 7, 2008 - I'll add my opinion. I prefer Snow Patrol's performance. I like the instrumentation better. (I love a good piano as in Leona's, but for this song I like the massive entrance of additional instruments as the song progresses - great movement power energy.) I also like his voice better. It may be subdued, but to me, that gives the subtly and emotion more impact. Her version is dramatic, which overkills it.
