Nov 11, 2009 - I was a huge fan of Diana Rigg, as the Avengers' Mrs. Emma Peel. I do adore Watson as well, though I never thought to compare them. Each brings a fierce intelligence to her characters. I highly recomment DVDs of "The Avengers" (1965 - 1967 = Patrick MacNee and Diana RIgg - Forget the others.) are available and well worth viewing. They stand up remarkably well after 40-some years. And as tongue-in-cheek partners in spying, they've never been equalled.
