Greyangel051891 Says:

Nov 19, 2009 - I'm in love. Period. Words cannot describe how grateful I am that John Frusciante walks this earth.

zeppelinnut Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - as incredible as The Empyrean is, i have a feeling we are in for some more mind blowing music to come from this man. FUCKIN RIGHTS i can't wait.

tvrulesnation Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - this shit is unreal. i am so glad im a die hard fan of RHCP, otherwise i would have never found Frusciantes works. i love his whole story from basically being a walking dead man, to basically ressurecting being a completely changed man. from his guitar playing to his lifestyle, one only has to listen to ''by the way'' in comparison with ''californication'' to hear this incredible learning he got from drugs. as frusciante said it made him who he was even though it was a bad period of life

tvrulesnation Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - oh by the way does anybody know if JF is pretty religious or not? damn ireland sucks this cd is 25 euro here :( unreal as it is i refuse to pay taht much for an album. especially what with our recession being so bad but then i listen to Frusciantes music i got back to trance bliss state :)

frufrukurtjim Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - what do you meanin comparison to californication to notice the effect of drugs (if i understood) he was of drugs during both cali and by the way

pdd420 Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - True. Sometimes you have to go through Hell in your life to make you a better person. I don't recommend it or put that on anyone but it's truth.

zeppelinnut Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - theres a bunch of clips of john answering fan questions on youtube. its really cool. he touchs on religion a bit in one of those. he has an awsome view on alot of things. i dont know him personally, but he seems like good person.

zeppelinnut Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - i think you might have the time that john was away from the band a little confused.

tvrulesnation Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - @frufrukurtjim Zeppelinnut alright sorry i think i may have phrased my message wrong. basically i was saying that Frusciante developed a much more mellow sound after his comeback from drugs. that can be heard on Californication even more so on By The Way when he started using different angles on his solo albums which carried over to RHCP. if you like Frusciante as a guitarist you may also like Rory Gallagher i highly recommend him (he literally mastered playing guitar for his genres)

lightliquid Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - John, your a fucking beast.

DreamTime0989 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Dreading a time that is not near As a Man on a Cross I have no fear I can't believe these words I'm saying You got to feel your lines You got to feel your lines.... Those lyrics changed my life ... Listening to John Frusciante it's a priviledge.Thank you for existing John.God Bless you.

NattyN0o Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - possibly the best song ive ever heard..

Foofighters4eva1991 Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - First up, i hate the red hot chili peppers, and being the guitarist for them, i expected frusciante's album to be a bit more musically complex (esp. on the guitar) then what it is, but im not taking anything away from it, the lyrics are deep and his voice sits on it well and the music comes together really well

AdamskiFTW Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - more musically complex? are you fucking serious? thats a joke right? there's layers upon layers in each song, i think you've missed the whole point

MrAlfredocolon Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - music is best when its not even sounds anymore. they become raw vibes. john does this in all his work. great respect for this dude
