God is a trinity Father, son(Jesus), holy spirit. When Jesus left to heaven he sent the holy spirit. Thats how the wholeness of God is present on earth now. Jesus is now in heaven and will not appear bodily until the second coming. I covered this in the video, but that may be what you are thinking of.

It is true that jesus was a true historical figure that was crucified , baptized by johh, and was a traveling teacher. Beyond that it is his miracles and divinity that one has to take on faith and not fact.

I can give you tons of sources to back me up that almost all ancient historians and new testament scholars (Christian or atheist) don't dispute the fact Jesus exist. With their criteria they use they extract fact from fiction in the gosples and the evidence they produce is quite strong that jesus was a real person. I'll email you all references.
