Apr 6, 2009 - Αlexander's ethnicity was Greek. Macedonia was (like today) a Greek state. Macedonians were refering to themselves as Greeks. There's no such thing as "Macedonian language". Ancient scripts that have been found, they have proved that Macedonians were speaking the same dialect as Athenians, Spartans etc.. they were using the Greek alphabet. Slavic language (like FYROM language) didn't exist at the times of Alexander the Great. You can google it. Greek monks made your language.

The slavic language was obviously created by slavs. The alphabet was started by two monks (let's not argue where they were from) , but actually finished by their students in Bulgaria (and those students were also Bulgarian). It was named Cyrillic to honor their teacher Cyril.
