Jun 9, 2008 - made these a few times now. they keep very well (before cooking! otherwise they get so hot it burns like a mofo!) Chives and onion is good, so is garlic and herbs. i found i have to cook them in the oven for 25min on one side and another 25-30 min on the other. put holes in the tinfoil and cook with that side up for 25 min, then flip them, all the fat will run out and the top will toast as nice as the bottom. WAIT 10 minutes before opening them, unless you like burns.

Jun 10, 2008 - I once tried to make Habanero poppers. WOW very tasty but BUT will it ever kick your butt!
jaybobed Says:
Jun 10, 2008 - LOL svtcontour, You can make them not hot at all if you scrape out all the white from the inside of the Jalapeno. THanks, Dave
svtcontour Says:
Jun 10, 2008 - Ya see I took the seeds out and left the white stuff. I thought to myself "well gotta leave a little heat in there". Man let me tell you there is more heat in that white stuff than there is in the seeds ... or seemed that way. Next time I'm scraping everything out :)
ScrewAttackChina Says:
Jun 18, 2008 - Habanero poppers? classic! Brave, man, brave...!
DKz92 Says:
Jun 18, 2008 - What kind of cheese is that? What would you call it (like shrimp-cheese?). This looks very tasty.
jaybobed Says:
Jun 18, 2008 - Ir is cream cheese with chives. You know the cheese you make cheese cake out of! OH Its good! THanks, Dave
DKz92 Says:
Jun 19, 2008 - Is it very hot, and can I cook it in an oven? I am planning to make this tonight if I can get some fresh Jalapeños and cream cheese!
jaybobed Says:
Jun 19, 2008 - It is hot if you do not remove all the white from the inside of the pepper. Remove all the white and it will not be hot. Yes you can do them in the oven on 350 f for about 15 20 minutes. Just until the bacon is done! THanks, Dave
Mysterwright Says:
Jul 11, 2008 - Yeah man, I love mine spicy! :P Does the bacon give it an extra flavor kick too?
Mobile3999 Says:
Aug 17, 2008 - I thought jalapenos were super hot
jaybobed Says:
Aug 17, 2008 - They are only hot if you leave any white on the inside. Remove all the white on the inside and you remove all the hot. THanks, DAve
GoldDraconian Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - Are they effectively like bell peppers once they've been scooped out, in the sense that they have no heat at all? Or do they keep a little heat, just at a tolerable level?
jaybobed Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - Yes, that is correct. All the hot is in the white center. The pepper flavor is on the outside! Dave
rgvwingchun Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - this is cool. I actually stuff mine with ham or sliced turkey and cream cheese. But I only make a slit on the side and scrape out the seeds with a spoon so that the stem can stay on. Also, I always leave one with the seeds in it and play "lottery" with whoever comes over to eat em!!! Thanks for this video!!!
rgvwingchun Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - oh yeah....I put mine on skewers too
TheWirelessEcosystem Says:
