Oct 30, 2008 - Nice, I have'nt heard this version of "Woodstock" for so long. I love both Joni's and CSNY's versions and I love how this is yet another version that's different and so great. Thank you for posting this.

twebb63 Says:

Nov 2, 2008 - This version sounds like a an Acid Trip. Great Mix and Great Sound. Different from CSNY.

DominatorMCMLXXVIII Says:

Nov 5, 2008 - Different? I suppose that's a diplomatic way of putting it. Superior is the adjective I'd use though.

Dec 17, 2008 - can you visit Max Yasgur's farm in New York today?

Toyboy789 Says:

Dec 18, 2008 - It's interesting . . . we all felt this way back then. Then something happened . . . We strove for degrees, for good jobs, for mortgages, for cars and stainless steel appliances . . . and now we're in our 50s and 60s we recognise what we had - and yearn for all those lost years . . . But better late than never. eh? Because they WERE great years!

aarfeld Says:

Dec 21, 2008 - You can visit and there is a plaque commemorating the event, which stands where the stage stood during the festival. The farm has since been sold a couple of times and sub-divided, so it's not one intact property anymore. The portion with the Yasgur's home on it was on the market about a year or two ago. There is also now a museum in the area commemorating the festival with many displays and artifacts. Definately a must-see if you travel there to visit the site of the concert.

GhostNetworkTv Says:

Dec 24, 2008 - It is interesting that this time of the past is missed, yet we are once again there. You never know it when it is happening, you just look back and dream of better times, some hard times are upon us for people that put there value in the wrong place. But exciting changes are waking up the masses now at this very time. Embrace it! Steady your self for it!
