Sep 3, 2009 - While the lady on the left is mostly likely Jean Harlow and the middle is definitely Joan Crawford, the third is mostly likely either Constance Bennett or Mary Astor. Bette Davis was only a contract player in 1933 and wouldn't emerge as a star until the following year via her breakout role in "Of Human Bondage".

Sep 24, 2009 - Janet Gaynor is a good guess for the gal on the right. I think it's more likely that it's Jean Harlow on the left. She had several big hit movies in '33 and was definitely an "A" list star by then. Although Carole Lombard was in several movies in '33 she wasn't an "A" list star yet, like Bette Davis her big break would come the following year, in the film "Twentieth Century".
