Oct 28, 2009 - thats true but sometimes people/contractors are complete idiots when they hook them up...this will mainly happen if the TP valve is plugged up, but it will also happen if the TP valve's discharge tube, is going up a hill, meaning a 90 degree angle,....water can actually pool up in there and cause the valve to corrode which can prevent it from working at all!
