Nov 13, 2009 - The fact is, Keith moon was not the most talented drummer of all time, the fact was, was that he was the most entertaining drummer of all time, and if that isn't talent then you can call me sally.

havepie Says:

Nov 14, 2009 - First, Thank you for the cursing to prove your point. Secondly, The funny part about Moonie, was that he was bad at keeping time, an Off-Beat drummer some would say, which is why he was so awesome, And why, No performance by the who was the same, Basically, It was him, and john too, that kept the who together, Roger and Pete knew what they were doing, John and Keith did that and more. He is my favorite drummer, I was just saying he is not the most talented drummer.

Nov 19, 2009 - @hiphopandrock John entwistle, the bassist..

JakeJBlues Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - the first bassist in the history of rock who made the bass an instrument with a own dignity: before John, bassist was the less important member in a technical judgement of a band, even if the bass was foundamental (look at "The morphine", who made excellent rock WITHOUT guitars, BUT with bass).

JakeJBlues Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - ...otherwise, if John was very good, Keith was the best on his role: in the same years there was also, on the scene, Jack Bruce, that was a god, probably the best bassist of the early rock...instead, as drummer, Moon was a forerunner: the only one good as him in those years was Baker, that was great technically, but he came from jazz, his style was not exactly rock. Bonham came AFTER...;)

PTK4able Says:

Nov 20, 2009 - yes. I have a funny story. my uncle stayed at the hotel and keith, pete, and roger where in the room next to my uncle. Keith blew up the toilet ( in the room he was staying in) the explosion was so powerful it blew a hole through the wall. and my uncle was trying to take a shit
