Nov 20, 2009 - @gudlokingout. The argument you made about quantum physics is ridiculous but is probably due to your lack of understanding of it. You are proposing to give up on quantum physics because YOU (or anyone else for that matter) can't see the point. With quantum physics you can make predictions that are always turned out to be correct. But you can't see the point because you didn't know that.

Nov 21, 2009 - it's much easier to say something doens't exist. Than it is to prove its existance. Extremely simple

ShepsBush92 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - hahahaha Excellent! Couldn't have done it better myself. Go Atheism!

gudlokingout Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - @ ragnarthoris So according to you quantum physics could be used like religion? Got it. If you really think about it. Ancient creation stories state creation started from the Atom and expanded into everything you see here. Its just explained in a way where anyone can understand it. I just don't see our current technology making accurate predictions into the unknown.

ragnarthoris Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - @gudlokingout. No, you can't use quantum physics as religion. And if you can't see how it makes predictions then it only means you're not looking.

gudlokingout Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Predictions like opinions are like ass wholes. Throw a lug nut in any crazy house and ill hit someone with a prediction. The bible is full of predictions some of which came true. So what makes Quantum physics any different? Even that physic chick Silvia brown predicted Aliens will contact us within the next two years.

ragnarthoris Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - @gudlokingout. What makes quantum physics different is that predictions of it have been verified experimentally to a very high degree of accuracy.

gudlokingout Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - So someone actually can verify the exact measurements of the universe? Current scientists have devised a way to shoot lazers in every direction and run rulers to verify the findings are correct. I DON"T THINK SO. Until they find a way to simplify their findings in a language anyone can understand and PROVE. I still don't see the difference in believing in god v.s science.

ragnarthoris Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - What you think is totally irrelevant. You can't make your arguments based on ignorance.

gudlokingout Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - So assuming someones theory on quantum physics isn't being ignorant? Theory's, predictions, hearing-seeing voices in your head. Much like how people who do extraordinary things describe how they do it, im sure its the same way the people of the bible would have explained it. I don't see the difference.

ragnarthoris Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - gudlokingout, your not making any sense. The fact that you have little to no knowledge about quantum physics (let alone other scientific disciplines) doesn't make it false.

StuJee1 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Name me one SPECIFIC prediction that the bible made, that came true. And that doesn't include predicting things in the old testament that happen in the new testament. I'm talking about things which can be verified by actual primary historical, or other, sources (the Gospels being secondary sources; as any theologeon would tell you).

gudlokingout Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Deuteronomy 28:64 prophesies "Then the Lord will scatter you among the nations from one end of the earth to the other." Jesus again predicts in Luke 21:24, "They will fall by the sword and will be taken prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles, until the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled." Those jews were enslaved worldwide by Euros so do you need any more!

gudlokingout Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - The same could be said about the bible! Unless you have a time machine you can't prove anything in the bible wrong. Until someone devises a tool that can be used to measure the universe. Quantum physics are nothing but unproven theory's and hold no basis in reality.

mcidontgiveafuck Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - that is fucking hilarious. i love you guys!!

Tommunist07 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - the two atheists in the video are douches, the religious caller was an idiot. kinda funny because all atheists in general are douchebags and all super religious people in general are idiots.

thevagabondable Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - And all religious people in general are ignorant.

thevagabondable Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - Quantum physics can be applied to cryptography and laser technology, which certainly tells us that they do hold some basis in reality. Invisible deities however, do not hold any basis in reality. How hypocritical of you.

Tommunist07 Says:

Nov 21, 2009 - and all people who seriously argue about that shit online are unhappy

RedAlert39 Says:

Nov 22, 2009 - but at least the people in this video aren't stupid enough or big enough douchebags to make insulting generalizations of huge groups of people.
