I was blessed to have a loving family and all 4 grandparents around for my entire childhood with many great family traditions I got used to, looked forward too, and loved. Christmas was so great I can't imagine my life ever being as good as it was back when I was was a kid in the late 80s and blanketed with the love of my family and the magic of the season of Christmas.

Nov 20, 2009 - It used to be that I would cry when Charlie put the ornament on the tree and said "Everything I touch gets ruined". Now I cry at the end of this clip where all the children announce at the newly-decorated tree, "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown!". It's just too poignant all around.

Nov 21, 2009 - I am 41 years old, and still get excited when this christmas special comes on. What wonderful memories this brings to my mind. My parents are both gone now, but I remember us popping pop corn and watching this every year. Thank you for posting this.
